autumn colour
Today has been a delighful day of Autumn colour. I don’t know if it’s having a nearly 3 year old or because I’m approaching middle-age, but I am really loving watching the birds in the garden as I wash up!!

Niblet and I had fun with glue, glitter, paint and sparkly star stickers on Sunday afternoon, making firework pictures. He loved making the pictures, but has told us all weekend he’s afraid of the bangs (fortunately out of 3 nights of ‘bangs’ the only night he struggled to get to sleep was Saturday)
Niblet got some new shoes this weekend, which he (& we) LOVE. As I went upstairs yesterday I saw them and they just looked like little boy shoes, not baby shoes anymore.
I have finished 3….. yes, 3 projects this weekend. I hadn’t really been considering some of the things I make for Niblet as creative, but I make them, so I guess they are.
So, it’s been a month or so since I last posted and I’m struggling to remember what I’ve been doing.
Today we had a little party…. Niblet is 2 and a half tomorrow. I know most people don’t celebrate their half birthday, but as Niblet’s birthday is Christmas Day, we decided to give him a party in the summer.
So I haven’t been very organised about getting this post out – not that that is any different than normal.
Well, what a week it’s been. Beautiful blue skies and endless sunshine…..
I saw some great shots while playing with Niblet at the weekend and managed to get Hubbie to grab my camera in time to catch them. What was I saying in my last post?
You just can’t beat a homemade card ……. or one that mummy helped with at Tots group!!
