fixin’ it up

I have a denim jacket that I love. I have had it for over 15 years, it was bought when I worked at GAP, so was a bargain.

It hasn’t fitted me for a while and I have tried to find a replacement, but none quite match it. However, since May I have lost about 1 and a half stone and I can now get it on again. I doubt it will ever do up again, but small victories.

It has another issue – a great hole where the sleeve meets the cuff, so big I put my hand through it by mistake.

So, I decided to remedy it with a quick trip to the market, where I picked up 4 shades of blue embroidery threads and an idea in my head.

Et voila!
