I have been planning to make Niblet a new pair of pyjama bottoms for a while, but just haven’t had the time.

Seeing lots of pyjamas in the shops for Christmas made me think I really should pull my finger out, having Grandma round to take Niblet out for the day today made it much easier.

These were, again, made out of old pyjama bottoms of mine (they shrunk ridiculously in length), however I had to use the pattern from ‘Sewing for Boys’ as the Simplicity one no longer fits.

Even though Niblet will be 6 tomorrow, I measured him to the 4/5 year size in the book, but made them a bit longer to allow growing room. When he arrived back I made him put them on to size the elastic – I have never seen such baggy bottoms. I’m guessing American kids are a little on the chunkier side! I much prefer the fit of the previous pairs.
