paper chase
Today has mostly been about paper. I had a day off from Niblet duties (nursery & Grandma took over) and went into Manchester.

Happy birthday to my little blog!! 1 year old today. That’s not the only birthday on the horizon, Niblet’s best friend will be 3 next week, and I decided to make his present…
The sun has been shining and we have had daily visitors to our garden.
I have a heap of other flowery/foliage photos just hanging around, waiting to have their big moment. So, following my flowery theme in my last post here they are …
We went down to Surrey last week to see the out-laws and had another week of fantastic weather.
Thursday was a glorious day and we went to what can only be described as paradise… Barafundle bay. This is what it looked like when we arrived at about 10am.
Monday was grey at the farm, but we knew that didn’t mean it was like that on the coast!!
Our summer holiday was last week, we went to South West Wales. We drove a similar way to last year; last year we were greeted by sunlight glistening on the sea, this year clouds and grey skies.
I have also got around to making a few things since June. I made this peg bag for my mother-in-law’s birthday in mid-July. I designed it myself (may need a little adjustment, but not bad!!) and made it from a vintage duvet cover I got in the charity shop.
So, it’s been a month or so since I last posted and I’m struggling to remember what I’ve been doing.
