Where does all the time go? (part 2)

I have also got around to making a few things since June. I made this peg bag for my mother-in-law’s birthday in mid-July. I designed it myself (may need a little adjustment, but not bad!!) and made it from a vintage duvet cover I got in the charity shop.I have been more busy in the last couple of weeks making things for the NCT babylympics, at which my mum and I were sharing a crafty stall.
I have loved it – wish I had more time to make like this.

BIG thanks to Hubbie for keeping Niblet entertained.

I made lots of cards and some stationery sets. So, there has been much cutting, stamping, colouring, cursing and re-doing!! I also decided to try and sell some of the bags I screen-printed on the course in June (read all about it here and here).

I have never had a stall at any sort of fair and as this wasn’t a craft fair my expectations weren’t really that high. I have sold bits and bobs that I have made previously to family, friends and colleagues. So, putting it out there for all to see was a bit scary.

Not sure that my half looked that great but it was the first time!!

The spotty chickens are my mums creations, mine are all on the groovy vintage sheet!!

I sold 2 bags, 2 stationery sets and 8 cards (all to only 3 customers)

I got some nice comments too, which is good.
I think I will do it again, but will have to watch out for pricey stall fees (this was really reasonable).
