Yesterday, I had a day away from niblet and hubbie. I spent the day in Manchester looking at lots of lovely things made by other people, very talented people.
My copy of ‘Sewing for Boys’ by the lovely Patterns by Figgy’s has arrived. I have looked at all the gorgeous pictures, marvelled at the 8 sheets of full size pattern pieces and struggled to decide what I will make first!!
Niblet got a fab pair of hatley pjs from grandpops earlier in the year. They look great, fit well & wash brilliantly. So now he’s nearly grown out of them I thought I’d get some more. There are loads of fab designs, we are particularly loving the moose ones.
After 21 months with very little crafting going on, I have finally managed to get my sewing machine out & running. The last things I made were just before niblet was born. I made him a play quilt and 3 soft rattles from Lotta Jansdotter’s fantastic book ‘Simple Sewing for Baby’.
