I have stumbled across a few fab Valentine ideas online. You might like one ….. or two!!

Innocent smoothies are letting you customise a smoothie label to print off and wrap round your loved one’s smoothie. How cool is this

I found out about these paper source origami hearts via mollie makes, the crafty magazine that I LOVE . The mollie makes blog has lots of other heart related goodness, too.

A free printable from Whisker Graphics who sell the most gorgeous bitty bags and bakers twine (I hope to get some sent over sometime for something or other, that escapes my mind just now….. just because they’re lovely!!)

Another gorgeous frees free printable is this Valentine card in 2 colours from the very talented Laura Macchia (who I discovered at Poppytalk’s handmade holiday market last year)

I bought a gorgeous ceramic heart button sometime last year (or possibly the year before) from Smiths Row gallery in Bury St. Edmunds. It is a great gallery with the most fab shop, every time we go down to visit my brother I try to make a trip there. He (my brother) bought me a fantastic camera print for my birthday there too.

Anyway, my plan for a valentine for my lovely, was to sew the lovely pink ceramic heart to a card.
Simple, but stunning.
Can I find the button anywhere??

My next thought is to cut a heart from the pages of our Rough Guide to Paris (the city of love). It was given to us as a wedding present for our honeymoon trip to Paris. It is now a little out of date & we have a small collection of other Paris guides.

I need to look through and find the most romantic/meaningful page from which to chop my heart. And if I keep the book I’ll have plenty of pages with which to make similar cards/gifts in the future.

If it works out there will be another post with piccies soon.
