Out of the 8 postcards I had made for iHanna’s postcard swap last time, 1 has been added to and kept, another added to and chucked. I tried to rubber stamp on it and only a small part came out, so I tried to go over it, with disastrous consequences. Here are the final four:
The past couple of months have been a creative black hole.
After my last post, I duly went away and sewed my heart out for an hour or so…
Before I get to the real point of this post I thought I’d share this!!
This afternoon has been more productive than any other in the past few weeks. Lashing rain and whistling wind clearly make for a good soundtrack to inspiration!!
I have finally finished all the dribble bibs I was making (see previous post)…which means I can move onto something else (many ideas, not enough hours in the day!!)
Last week, I hauled my trusty Singer out to make pressies for the many friends who have recently had babies. (One was born before ‘the party’, but really with all the stuff for that and then Christmas, this is the first chance I’ve had to make anything)
My trip to London this time was actually focussed on seeing something, rather than just wandering round visiting shops (I did a bit of that too!).
During our wet and windy trip to ‘the outlaws’ I had a day up in London. My main objective was to see ‘Hello , My Name is Paul Smith’, but as I’ve realised how photo heavy this post is, I’ll have to put that in another post!.
