Dog on Crosby Beach These photos were both taken on the same day (not sure when, one of our many visits to Crosby beach).
A little bit of sunshine to brighten up, yet another, miserable Manchester day.
Millenium Bridge – Newcastle-upon-Tyne Well I needed to post some blue sky, as it has been non-stop grey and rain here for 2 days.
Parisian pattern.
Torside Reservoir – Longdendale
One & Other – Antony Gormley Yorkshire Sculpture Park I have been busy clearing out my photo collection.
My copy of ‘Sewing for Boys’ by the lovely Patterns by Figgy’s has arrived. I have looked at all the gorgeous pictures, marvelled at the 8 sheets of full size pattern pieces and struggled to decide what I will make first!!
Niblet got a fab pair of hatley pjs from grandpops earlier in the year. They look great, fit well & wash brilliantly. So now he’s nearly grown out of them I thought I’d get some more. There are loads of fab designs, we are particularly loving the moose ones.
After 21 months with very little crafting going on, I have finally managed to get my sewing machine out & running. The last things I made were just before niblet was born. I made him a play quilt and 3 soft rattles from Lotta Jansdotter’s fantastic book ‘Simple Sewing for Baby’.
