catch up

So, it has been a while again and we’ve been busy again!!

I have finished making all the things for the imminent arrival, photos will be posted once the proud parents have both the baby and the gift!!

I have started making leaves for Niblet’s 3 and a half party (Gruffalo themed); I still have loads of other things to do and not so much time to do them all – especially if we have to rush off to Suffolk for a weekend to meet Niblet’s new cousin.

We have had glorious sunshine here for the past 4 days, I think it’s some sort of record for this year!! Niblet has been out in the paddling pool on 2 evenings so far.

The weather was also lovely over the bank holiday weekend in Suffolk, but less lovely when we headed up to Norfolk for Hubbie’s nan’s 90th. Still we went to see the sea (in the rain) and had a walk & play at Sandringham.

The garden is coming on in leaps and bounds. We have a veritable potato jungle, the peas are doing well and the blueberry bushes are flowering for all they are worth – hoping this will lead to a bumper crop of berries as last year was a bit poor.

I bought some flower seeds when we were in Norfolk, as I’d like to have more flowers in the garden to bring into the house. I have managed to fill a couple of vases this week, but am hoping in a couple of months that there will be much more.

I guess I need to spend a bit more time trying to do it and less time writing about it!!

I have recently become aware of adverts appearing at the bottom of my posts. These are nothing to do with me, I don’t know why they are there or indeed how to get rid of them. I apologise.
