So, it’s a little quite late but ….Happy New Year!!
This is a card I received from another Postcrosser recently. I really like it and thought it was just right to start the first post of 2014.
We have had a busy holiday, what with Christmas/Niblet’s 4th birthday, Hubbie’s birthday and a week-long visit to ‘the outlaws’.
Our house is now full of Lego!! (Just a very small selection here!!)
Grandma even made Niblet a ‘Lego’ brick birthday cake.
We had a little walk around a local nature reserve on Boxing Day in some lovely winter sun (with impending dark skies)
We also went for a sunny walk the day after we arrived at ‘the outlaws’, it then poured down for pretty much the rest of the week. I hadn’t realised that cow parsley grew around the golf course we walked over – but this time I found it and so, no surprises, more photos!!
There was much opening of presents and merriment for Niblet and his cousins at ‘the outlaws’ on New Years Day, a second Christmas really. Little S really liked her beanbag and it also garnered admiration from all the grown-ups too, some sounding like possible future projects!!
There was another day with sunshine after new year which brought a further photo op.
May 2014 bring hope, love and dreams come true to all.
