This year we have fill/make your own crackers from Oxfam. I think I prefer to spend some money on the kits from a charity I support and fill our crackers with things that we might actually use for more than 10 seconds.
So, I have some mini body lotion for my mum and me, a mini whiskey for Hubbie. I couldn’t think what to put in Niblet’s as I didn’t want to spend too much and didn’t want tat.
I decided that as the Gruffalo finger puppets were a hit at his party (and does still get played with from time to time) that I would make another finger puppet.
I picked up a whole bunch of pre-cut felt puppet ‘bodies’ for 10p a pack (with about 10 in each pack of various bright colours) on sale ages ago, so I used one of these and thought that the colours lent themselves to more extra-terrestrial things.
Finding other spare bits of felt and some fun foam shapes that I could cut up and my mission was complete. As I packed the sewing machine away last week after making the bean bag and pyjamas I had to hand sew it. Looks great from the front and not bad, but not quite so great, from the back (but I didn’t take a picture of that!)
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!
I hope you all have fun and that your wishes come true.

I have recently become aware of adverts appearing at the bottom of my posts. These are nothing to do with me, I don’t know why they are there or indeed how to get rid of them. I apologise.
