It was the Manchester Weekender a couple of weekends ago.
I was heading into town anyway, on the hunt for some new boots (birthday pressie from Hubbie), but when I got an email from Hot Bed Press about The Radical Print Shop, I headed down to Oxford Road to bag my free print. This badly registered Un-Convention print, which I love anyway but must be amazing with the correct registration!!
The Manchester Print Fair was also on as part of the weekender. There were 2 fantastic prints that I quite fancied, but one was £15 and the other £20, and I just couldn’t justify them.
The bottom half of the letterpress ‘kiosk’ from HBP also made an appearance at the Manchester Artists Book Fair last weekend. (2 trips into the big city in 2 weeks – what’s the world coming to??)
As always, I picked up a few bits and pieces, again more restraint due to tightening purse strings.
Seeing all the fantastic cards, prints and books plus the letterpress demo made me wish I had my own little Adana 8×5 to print with. In my dreams……..

I have recently become aware of adverts appearing at the bottom of my posts. These are nothing to do with me, I don’t know why they are there or indeed how to get rid of them. I apologise.
