I have made a start on the bunting…

…..45 metres so far. I think I have enough paper circles for about another 60 metres. But even then I’m not sure it will be enough.

I ordered the pies this week.

Suitably cute and/or embarrassing photos of me throughout my life arrived last Friday and have been stuck up .

Cake making volunteers have been confirmed!!

A list of all the other food we need to make/buy has been stuck to the fridge.

Paper plates, napkins, paper table cloths & plastic cutlery have all been bought. Not ideal, as I would prefer not to have all that waste of resources, but as we only have 45 minutes after the party to clear up and get all the decorations down, shoving all the plates into a bin bag will be a lot easier.

I had my hair done at the college. If you don’t mind it taking longer than in a salon, it is well worth it. Full head of highlights (2 colours) and a cut and blow for £33.

make the rest of the bunting

finish making the chalkboard started, well months ago.

decorate jam jars with washi tape for tealights on the tables

make/buy all the other food

make all the paper pom-poms

pick up the pies

get my nails done (again at the college- cheap treats!)

All this in 1 week, plus the ‘outlaws’ arrive on Wednesday and Niblet needs to be occupied as it’s half-term, so no tots or swimming. At least it also means Hubbie is home for the week.
