The garden is alive with the buzzing of bees. They are loving the oregano, nasturtium, lavender and alliums….

… particularly the oregano. I counted 8 bees on each of the plants, on opposite sides of the garden. Not just bumblebees either.

We have also been visited today by 2 butterflies that I have never seen before. I had to look them up!! (identified here)

It has been another glorious day today, after the torrential rain since we returned from our holiday. Looking forward to more days like this and more unusual butterfly spotting – fingers crossed.
