It’s amazing what you can get done when you’re not blogging (or getting distracted reading other peoples blogs!!!)

It has been over 2 weeks since I last posted and what a busy 2 weeks they have been…

Since I was last here I have: started sewing presents for my brother’s baby, due in June (no pictures  yet, as they do occasionally read my drivel!!); made Niblet a cardboard guitar for his current craze of air guitaring to ACDC; built a robot with Niblet (called Roddy, who is sadly demised due to limbs falling off each of the many times he has been knocked over!!); helped Niblet make a hat to wear to nursery for Red Nose Day; knocked up a quick superhero cape for Niblet, using the leftover fabric bought for my nephew’s cushion and an old shirt of Hubbie’s (he is now a sartorial superhero!!)

This weekend we did took a trip to the party in the park. Well, more of an event, but we got to do a treasure hunt, Niblet & Hubbie rode the train and Niblet got his face painted like a tiger. It was something different, a nice way to spend a couple of hours and was mostly free, so no complaints here.

I have also been busy pricing up things to sell at our nct nearly new sale tomorrow; buying the refreshments; making cupcakes and generally worrying about how much stuff we will have to sell, whether anyone will turn up, whether it will snow so much tonight that it’s a struggle for all the volunteers to get there and so on and so on…..

Fingers crossed it will all go well (and that all my stuff will sell)
