I really like this card we received this year, in aid of Macmillan cancer support. And I think it says it well.
We are pretty much sorted for Christmas now, the new tree arrived on Wednesday evening, after the kids all finished at Hubbie’s school. It is so much bigger than the original tree, I had to get more baubles out!! and that’s after Hubbie and the caretaker chopped a big chunk off the bottom so it would fit in the car!!
We went to friends for drinks yesterday afternoon, which was lovely. Niblet loves playing with their little boy and particularly with his Octonaut toys (guess what Santa is bringing Niblet – amongst other things) but today has been a kind of nothing day. We’re all sorted so there wasn’t much to do, a little vacuuming and table moving. We went to the park for a bit this afternoon, almost just to fill in empty time. I know I shouldn’t complain but I’m happiest when I’m busy.
Tomorrow it starts getting more exciting. We are going to Grandma’s for lunch, then off to do some Christmas-sy activities and see a nativity, with real donkey, at Grandma’s church. My brother and his wife arrive at Grandma’s later in the afternoon, then they all pile round here for tea. Christmas Day is going to be at Grandma’s too. Stockings and breakfast here, with Niblet getting to open 1 or 2 birthday presents, then continuation of birthday celebrations in the morning at Grandma’s, with Christmas in the afternoon.
Hopefully, the weather will perk up enough for a nice walk on Boxing day, with birthday tea for all round here on the 27th for Hubbie’s birthday (I know – so much to fit in to such a short time)
I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year – may 2013 bring you all that you wish for (and maybe a little bit more!!)

I have recently become aware of adverts appearing at the bottom of my posts. These are nothing to do with me, I don’t know why they are there or indeed how to get rid of them. I apologise.
