In my mum’s old garden

Today I got baking and making in the kitchen. We had a large pumpkin given to us by my mum, so I had to think of a few things to make. I have baked a pumpkin pie using Sarah Raven’s recipe in her Garden Cookbook (It is yummy!!). I also made some pumpkin soup, loosely following her recipe for squash soup, on the opposite page. I baked 3 loaves of bread, as we had to buy bread last week while I was ill, which I can’t wait to use. The stuff we bought was not so great, although Niblet doesn’t seem to mind or even know the difference.
Tonight, I will try to finish the Clothkits dress for my niece’s christmas pressie (I probably won’t post it – just in case they look!!)
